BUSINESS VIDEO MASTERCLASS
PART 2 - AVOIDING MISTAKES WHEN GETTING QUOTATIONS
A quick word on automated online production systems
We’ve all seen adverts for amazingly low cost video at unbelievable prices.
Fiverr has a number of these. Other companies have them too.
At first glance they can look like a brilliant bargain.
So naturally you’ll wonder, “what’s the catch?”
The catch is that they use
> an automated online video or animation production system.
> or they're running a giant video sweat shop on the other side of the world.
As you'd expect, the results are almost completely unoriginal, as they all share the same sort of stock illustrations, clips, moves & methods.
They use previous videos as templates for every new job, so everything is the same.
This is how video can be offered at unbelievable prices.
Because they all look the same.
Your audience will probably spot this straight away.
If this doesn’t matter to you, then use them. You’ll make a big saving.
If it does matter, then keep clear, no matter how tempting the price may look.
It’s unlikely to result in the effective actionable game-changing video you’re looking for.
My own feeling is that these "automated system" videos are suitable for uncritical audiences who’ve hardly ever seen a business video.
I won't go further on this area, as it’s not relevant to this Masterclass.
