BUSINESS VIDEO MASTERCLASS
PART 3 - AVOIDING MISTAKES WHILE YOUR VIDEO IS BEING PRODUCED
Marketing automation video script tip
If you use marketing automation & gated content to gather email names for your Nurture Funnel, then why not use video to increase the number of clicks you get?
Putting a suitable video right next to the Gate Button will increase the number of clicks your Button gets, and send more people into your nurture funnel.
I regularly get 4% conversion rates, which is considered high.
I’d suggest a 45-60 second video, something short and to the point.
It's the first video right at the top. Most pages have similar examples.
To write this style of motivational script I’d suggest the following framework:
The opener - their pain
Open with 3 lines that highlight 3 worries or concerns that your customers have.
Write this in an emotional style that cuts to the chase.
Show what’s going wrong, and what people are worried, scared or concerned about.
How positive or upbeat/downbeat you make these opening lines is up to you, and the balance you want to strike. But it’s best not to pull any punches.
Alternatively you can make a statement everyone will agree, and so win the nod.
The middle - your proposition
Quickly explain what your Remarkable Proposition offers.
Don’t try to explain “how” just “what”, ie, delivered benefit.
The close - connect to the button
Connect everything to the benefits of your gated content, or whatever Button you’re using.
Invite them to discover what they’ll get by clicking the button.
Then in the last few seconds of the video show a moving arrow, pointing towards your gate button, indicating where the customer should press next.
I know from personal experience that this style of video increased button clicks by 344%.
