Q: My director has asked me to collect samples of video to show him at our meeting next Wednesday.
We’d like to look at different creative options. Can you oblige?
A: We’re always pleased to send out video samples, and we have a wide selection.
You can choose from DVD, multimedia video or flash animation, each of which may be able to deliver the communications solution you’re looking for.
For example, many of our customers come to us initially interested in a DVD. But after discussion they discover that a multimedia with video is the better option. Other customers find that a flash animation is actually the better delivery medium for them.
Conversely, customers initially looking for a multimedia with video can find that an Interactive DVD is the better option.
So it’s good to keep an open mind about what you want.
Stay focussed on how best to achieve your business objectives, and see what transpires.
We change our galleries around reasonably frequently as new productions come off the line, so it’s always worth popping back every once in a while to see what’s new.
As for requesting samples?
As a start, I’d recommend looking around our online galleries and see which programmes strike you as suitable in style for what you’re looking for.
Don’t just limit your search to the video galleries, or the multimedia gallery. For example a marketer can see good ideas in the Training Video gallery, while a HR manager find inspiration in the Marketing Video gallery. Look around them all.
It doesn’t take long, and it’ll give you great feeling for the possibilities in your production.
Once you’ve got a feel for creative style you’re most interested in, it’s much better to see actual DVD or multimedia samples, as the online streamed quality in the galleries is never as good as the real thing.
