Corporate Video Production
BUILDING QUALITY INTO THE PRODUCTION PROCESS
Quality requires care at each stage of the production of your video.
There are three main phases in a video production:
Pre-production: research, scriptwriting, planning, casting.
The Shoot: when the video crew, presenters and actors are on site and any computer animation production is in hand.
Post-production: grading the shots, the first edit (the rough cut), voiceover recording, titling, graphics, compositing, and the final edit (fine cut or online).
Ensuring a quality result that really works for your organisation is not just a question of the creativity of the crew and the talent of the performers.
It’s also the result of careful planning and approval at each stage of the process.
Your producer should provide you with a detailed schedule of production activities at the outset.
If you feel unhappy about the way things are going at any stage, say so immediately.
Insist. Don’t wait until later, when putting it right may cost time and money, and probably some embarrassment.
