Broadband and Audio

Broadband
Demonstrate your facilities

Broadband streaming video means high speed internet links.

It lets you deliver bigger and better video quality with greater impact.

Broadband streaming video in the UK is found in most areas now, including the major cities and conurbations.

Now it's usually a matter of how fast your broadband is, from connections as low as 55mbps (which is fine for streaming video) and as high as 800mbps, for large high quality video images.

You need to be sure that if your target audience is another company or enterprise, they have fast internal server connections. Even if they have, it's best to be aware of peak traffic times, as even the best servers can go slow in the "rush hour".

Increasingly more and more companies are upgrading or enhancing their internal server networks each month. So they have the latest high speed broadband.

If you think your target audience has high speed broadband capability, then you can deliver your message with greater power and clarity.

Webcasting detects the user speed on-the-fly, and automatically delivers your message at the appropriate speed for their broadband, regardless of their server, connection or location.

So your audience always views the best possible quality for their system.

And because broadband streaming video is now more or less UK-wide except in some of the remoter rural areas, the potential markets for your streaming video plans are growing all the time.

Audio

Get your brand seen

One point to watch for when planning to stream information to companies is that they have speakers attached to their PCs. Not all companies aware of the need for audio yet.

The latest accurate data we have, which is now over 18 months old, is that approx 50% of PC users have audio.

But also consider that most new corporate PCs have speakers built into the screens, or have a small set of speakers in the specification.

Companies are aware of the need for audio on the desktop, and the newer machines all have this, more commonly in smaller companies where they tend to buy better quality machines, than larger companies who buy a 1,000 PCs at a time and look for costing-savings on volume orders by shaving off "inessential features".

But even these companies usually have at least multimedia ready desktop PC in an office, with access to sttreaming video with audio.

So your audience always gets the best possible quality audio for their system.
