| Phase 3 - Keeping them up to date |
Each
time news breaks on your project,
email your audience with a short Project Bulletin Newsletter, with
headlines of the latest news, press releases, announcements, landmarks
and updates.
Keep it concise, down to three items per issue, and
include hyperlinks to your website. This way the user can click
in the email newsletter and go directly to specific page on your
website to find more detailed information if they wish. |
 |
| Send out anouncements... |
|
Before you know
it, your audience will soon start
to welcome to your short but useful newsletter.
|
As you might expect, your website will need fairly
frequent updating to coincide with your newsletter releases, but
this is not difficult.
And if some of your audience don't
have a modem on their PC, then send them a cd with all your website
on it so they can view everything offline. Again, this is easy
to do, and its inexpensive. |
 |
| ... then update your site. |
|
So how does all this spread of digital information tie in as New
Media? |
