Multimedia has a special function.
It has to state your case persuasively enough for the user to
feel they they have to take action, like talk to you, or ask a
question, make an enquiry, change their behavious, or want to buy.
Users may still have some doubts, of course, and still have many
unanswered questions, but they will definitely be interested.

Multimedia, whether on cd business card or cd-rom, must have certain
properties to achieve this.
Voice: It should talk all the way through, rather than oblige
the user to read text. Listening to the spoken word is both relaxing
and compelling. It makes it easy to keep clicking, and keep listening
to your persuasive case. See our Flash Showreel for an example
of talking pages.
|
Design: First class design is essential to be taken seriously.
An amateur Powerpoint is no substitute if making a great impression
counts.
Length: It shouldn't be more than 20 pages. Don't overtell. Convince
not bewilder.
Links: It must have email links and links to your microsite, acting
as a gateway to the wider world of your solution or approach.
