Coping With Shiftwork

We're all aware of the problems that shiftwork can bring.

Success in dealing with these problems lies in your ability to control the pattern of your life around shifts.

Adjust Your Behaviour - Regular exercise helps (but not immediately before sleep).

Follow a pre-sleeping routine; e.g. hot bath, clean teeth before bed etc..

Try topping up in the evening prior to work; many people consciously split their sleep in this way.
