Misuse of drugs is widespread and common in our society.

Within the youth culture drug taking is frequently viewed as socially acceptable.

Youth culture often regards parental alcohol and tobacco habits as simply another kind of drug to buy.

Alcohol and tobacco are, after all, simply drugs which have become acceptable.
