CORPORATE PRESENTATIONS - LEADING THE PACK WITH RECRUIT RETAIL SERVICES

Recruit Retail Services have long been the UK leader in the retail merchandising sector, with prestigious clients like Tesco and B&Q forming a solid backbone to the company. To help spearhead Recruit Retail's new business development strategy, we were invited to produce a multimedia presentation and corporate video to replace the existing mix of in-house produced powerpoints.

The new video delivers the full corporate message in 90 seconds, using wham-bam animation and custom written music. Now compare this with the old style talking head corporate videos that drone on for 8 minutes or more!

NEW LOOK VIDEO - HSBC IT OPERATIONS PRESENTS A NEW FACE TO THE GROUP

HTSE - or HSBC IT Operations as outsiders will commonly know them - have recently taken receipt of a video designed to update outdated impressions of them within the Group.

The new video - excitingly animated and set to custom music - and very representative of in-house Rossiter & Co marketing style - focuses on what HTSE actually deliver to the Group, highlighting the scale and volume of their activities. But instead of becoming a boring and possibly pompous iteration of successes, it delivers a sexy message inside 90 seconds, making it easy to watch in these days of time-poor overworked execs.

The video is being followed up by an animated talking multimedia presentation, which we'll tell you more about next issue, so please stick around.

 

SALES PRESENTATION WITH WEB SUPPORT - FROM EAGLE FM

Eagle FM not only supply contract cleaners, but they've been cleaning up too. Their recent business growth has been one of those curves that Sales Directors dream of.

To help Eagle face increasingly tougher competition for bigger and bigger contracts, we produced a multimedia presentation for them, which allows them to step into any boardroom or buyer's office and deliver what might arguably be called the best presentation in the business!

From initially planning the first few words on the page right through to a full blown talking CD brochure we worked closely with Eagle, identifying what it was that buyers needed to hear, and what would excite them enough to want to drop their old contract cleaning supplier and begin again anew with Eagle FM.

So far it's been a great success with bigger contracts rolling in. And now we've developed their website, using flash animation to deliver their sales pitch in 90 seconds (yes, more of that 90 second sales message, the new word on the block!)

ENVIRONMENT - PREVENTING OIL SPILLS AT LLOYDS TSB

When you're responsible for hundreds of buildings as Lloyds TSB are, the risk of an oil spill occurring during oil delivery greatly increases - compared with a business owning only a few buildings.

And the consequences of an oil spill range from big fines to ruining drinking water, to killing birds and fish, to despoiling the high street.

Lloyds TSB in their wisdom commissioned us to produce a training video so that every employee involved in oil delivery can become proficient (notice the use of the new trendy "proficient" word - not old-fashioned "competent" ;) in avoiding spills, and dealing with one successfully if it should occur.

We all agreed that the most memorable route was to base the production around a small cast of actors and presenters who would simulate a spill and deliver the training, together with LTSB staff who've had experience of a spill - plus - specialists from The Environment Agency who could lend their great experience and authority to the production. Another winner it seems!

 

CAMTASIA - NEW TECHNOLOGY FOR MARKETERS AND TRAINERS

Today the big deal is getting everything up on the web so that visitors, customers and prospects can quickly see what you offer and so make a more informed decision about you.

So what about all those multimedia presentations, in-house software developments and powerpoints sitting in your laptop, mute as fish where no one can see them!

Camtasia allows you to record what you see onscreen (such as a presentation or a demo) and convert it into a video stream which you can then play on your website.

This is brilliant technology and represents a big step in converging visual information on the web page. What's more Camtasia allows you to add captions or voiceover so that your web page can talk or play music if you want it to. Absolutely super!
