HAPPENING NOW - The Rossiter & Co 2001 CD-Rom Showreel
Our new 2001 Showreel Happening Now is finally out at last! It contains a huge 28 video clips, including some of the latest and best corporate work you'll see anywhere in the world.

It comes in a state-of-the-art multimedia cd that defines standards for business and new media presentation.

Don't Walk By Success Story
The Don't Walk By health and safety video package recently produced for Carillion has been enjoying extraordinary success, and is now being adapted by other customers who now want to adopt this new approach to promoting proactive workforce safety attitudes.

This is due in no short measure to the fact that Don't Walk By influences workplace attitudes to safety by avoiding the traditional stand-up-and-tell toolbox talk approach.

Instead it features a rapid series of operative interviews where safety issues are discussed openly, with operatives making their own decisions.

The video is backed up by a Presenter's Guide listing a wide variety of questions that the Presenter can ask to promote genuine discussion, rather than just *stand up and tell*.

This whole approach has to be seen to be appreciated. Words don't do it justice.

You can get your copy with the Happening Now CD showreel above.

Real Video is Coming of Age
Some of you may have noticed that Real Video webstreaming has improved dramatically over the last 6 months. Video has actually become watchable on the web, instead of constantly breaking up every time there's net congestion.

This is partly because lines are faster, with increasing use of broadband (or ADSL) and partly because Real now detects congestion and will automatically stream your video at a lower quality rate. Yes, this means a temporary loss in quality, but at least it doesn't completely fall over the way it used to.

Here at the Studio we intend to implement Real Video on our website in the course of the year. So keep an eye out, and if you like what you see when it arrives, then contact us and we'll let you know how we do it.

In the Pipeline
Hmmm ... let's see. New Sustainability video project with Carillion, eight *Don't Walk By* style modules for Pilkington, and an adaptation of Don't Walk By for Crown House Engineering, plus mucho work in progress nearing completion.

Humour - Overheards
On holiday
Dumb guy asked where to put the money in a slot machine.
The waiter indicated the slot.
The guy then asked where the money came out.
The waiter indicated the ATM.

On EasyJet
Passenger to Steward: What are my dinner choices?
Steward: Yes or no.

In the office
Guy caught sleeping at desk: They told me at the blood bank this might happen.

or ... I wasn't sleeping, I was meditating on our Mission Statement and envisioning a new paradigm.

or ... I was testing my keyboard for drool resistance.

Oi!
