There are many different types of corporate video programme that organisations need.
Videos are used as promotional or marketing tools, for training, for safety, or for public awareness.
A programme can even be an all-animation programme.
But regardless of the type of video programme, the resources that go into making the video are often broadly the same.
A 10 minute training video will probably require the same amount of resources as a 10 minute marketing video, even if those resources are different.
This broadly applies across the board. So a low cost training DVD will cost the same as a low cost marketing DVD. And likewise a high cost marketing DVD will cost much the same as a high cost training DVD.
Surprised?
What they all have in common is that they require shoot days. They all require scripting and editing. They all require some graphics, titling and post production.
While the storylines may vastly differ, the resources required for different programme types are often similar, because they share so much in common.
And hence the costs are often similar.
The price you pay is more dependent on the level of quality you require rather than the video programme type.
