Pre-Shoot checks before video shoot

To make sure everything runs smoothly, a final meeting between you, the anchorperson and the owners of the shoot locations will tidy up the arrangements.

Walk the locations so that you can see that everything is ready.

Check for 13-amp power sockets that will be needed for the video lights.

If you are using actors, agree where they can change and also where they can sit and rehearse when they're not needed for a scene.

Always consider safety issues before a shoot

Agree arrangements about access, parking, safety, onsite transport (a trolley or a van), refreshments; also overnight storage of equipment if it's a multi-day shoot.

Ensure all interviewees have the Questionnaires and Guidance Notes; it's important to set them at ease before the big day.
